VALIC Announces Social Security Seminar May 28 at Mays Landing Campus

Christopher J. Carrozza, CPA, ChFC, the college’s VALIC financial advisor, will present a 45-minute seminar titled “Social Security – What You Need to Know to Maximize Your Retirement Income,” at 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 28, in J-207. The seminar will cover:

  • When to begin your Social Security benefits to maximize your retirement income
  • Whether to take early payments, begin payments at full retirement age, or delay taking benefits
  • How to capitalize on benefits you may be entitled to based on your spouse’s earnings
  • Benefits for divorced spouses
