Earn College Credit this Summer at Atlantic Cape; First Session Begins May 27

Atlantic Cape Community College will offer a variety of credit courses this summer to accommodate a range of lifestyles. Whether you’re a current student, recent high school graduate or attending a four-year college and home for the summer, you can earn credits toward your degree during Atlantic Cape’s six summer sessions.

Some classes include: Art Appreciation, College Algebra, Composition I, Composition II, Criminal Law, Earth Science, Elementary Spanish I, Fundamental English Grammar, General Psychology, Intro to Computers, Principles of Sociology, Public Speaking, Restaurant Operations and U.S. History II.

In-person registration hours are weekdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit www.atlantic.edu/summer to view summer and fall class schedules and to register online.

The first session is six weeks, May 27 to July 3; the second session is eight weeks, June 30-Aug. 21; and the third session is six weeks July 14 to Aug. 21. In addition, two accelerated 11-day sessions begin May 27 and June 16, and a full session meets May 27-Aug. 21.

For students who wish to continue their studies beyond the associate degree, Atlantic Cape offers dual admission programs with The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and Rutgers and Fairleigh Dickinson universities.

With locations close to home, students can start at Atlantic Cape and finish at Stockton, Rutgers or Fairleigh Dickinson. Atlantic Cape’s associate degree also is transferable upon acceptance at all public four-year colleges in New Jersey and the college has more than 35 articulation/transfer agreements with four-year colleges and universities across the country.

Classes will be held at the Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike; the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd.; the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House; and online.

Payment for summer classes is due at the time of registration. The college accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
